We are a CADD (Computer Aided Drafting & Design) service and would like to offer our services to your company.  dlb CADD, LLC has over sixty years of combined drafting and design experience within the institutional casework, countertop and millwork industry.  We are intimately familiar with modular casework, laboratory layouts, architectural woodwork construction and details using products of Case Systems, Collegedale, Mott Manufacturing, Fisher-Hamilton and other manufacturers.  Experience includes (but not limited to): schools, hospitals, laboratories, department store boutiques and veteran homes.  We are also a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI).

 

The drafting software we are using is the current version of AutoCAD by Autodesk, Inc. with the capability of furnishing the drawing files to you in any version supported by AutoCAD, DXF or PDF format.  Hard copies may also be provided.  We also are proficient in using Case Systems’ AutoCase and Case Line software. 

 

Quotations are provided for standard casework and basic millwork projects.  An hourly rate (plus any direct expenses) is charged for complicated projects where the value cannot be readily determined.  Please contact us for rates.  This applies to projects that require extensive research, numerous drawings and complicated details.

 

What is needed to provide an accurate quote and shop drawings:

· A set of architectural drawings

· Electronic drawings of the overall floor plans in AutoCAD format

· Specifications

· Detailed scope of work

· Deviations to specifications or plans

· Hardware spec’s (Actual hardware to be used on the project)

· Cabinet construction details
